Founder & Director
As the founder and director of Sana Catering Marbella, Toni Foran is the driving force behind its reputation as the Costa del Sol’s premier wedding and event catering company. Her true strength lies in her ability to connect with clients, understand their vision, and turn their dreams into reality. With a hands-on approach, she guides couples through every step of the journey, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience. More than just a planner, Toni often becomes a trusted friend, staying in touch long after the last toast has been made. Her professionalism, warmth, and unwavering dedication have set the standard for excellence in wedding planning and event catering.
David Farber
Executive Head Chef
David is the culinary mastermind behind Sana Catering Marbella. As Executive Head Chef, he has been shaping the company’s food philosophy since 2015, bringing his expertise, creativity, and passion for top-quality cuisine to every dish. With years of experience in fine dining and event catering, David’s approach is all about fresh, beautifully presented, and flavour-packed menus, tailored to each event. His organisational skills, eye for detail, and ability to craft menus that exceed expectations have helped establish Sana Catering Marbella’s reputation for outstanding food and service.
Leonardo Brishotti
Chef
Leo has been working with us since the beginning and has been a big part of our success and growth. As a versatile and highly experienced chef, Leo can adapt to any area of the business where more focus is needed; wherever he goes his personality and positivity have a great impact on the rest of the team. He is reliable, honest and good fun to be around – an integral member of the Sana Catering family.
Ben Hayes
Executive Chef
Ben Hayes is a Michelin-trained chef from the UK. He has worked as head chef or executive head chef since his move to Spain and Gibraltar in some of the top restaurants in the area. Ben’s natural flair and love of cooking shines through every dish he prepares as he always exceeds expectations and consistently produces innovative and ahead-of-the-curve creations. The Sana Catering Marbella team is proud and excited to be working alongside him.
Joakim Hvitfeldt
Chef
Joakim Hvitfeldt is a dedicated family man, who is just as passionate about his cooking skills and creating incredible dishes for Sana Catering clients. With an extensive catering portfolio, Joakim has worked in a variety of highly demanding chef positions all over Europe and in the military. Settling down with us at Sana Catering Marbella around four years ago saw Joakim become a vital and integral member of the team.
Nick Newman
Chef
Nick began working in the hospitality industry at 15 years of age, gaining vast experience in a wide variety of environments, having worked in highly successful restaurants, resorts and hotel kitchens as an impressive Sous Chef with a natural passion and ingrained flair for creating top-level food. Nick has a world of knowledge in both local and international cuisine, always creating unique menus and ultimately suited to his clients.
James Watkins
Sous Chef
With over two decades of experience in the culinary industry, James is a highly skilled and versatile chef who thrives in any kitchen setting. From high-energy beach clubs to the refined atmosphere of fine dining establishments, he has mastered the art of creating exceptional cuisine across a wide range of styles. His expertise spans every aspect of food preparation – pastry, sauces, meats, and beyond – allowing him to craft dishes with both precision and creativity.
Aziz Mouijeb Ghrifi
Commis Chef
Chef Aziz Mouijeb Ghrifi brings over 25 years of culinary expertise and a deep passion for food to every aspect of the Sana Group. Having previously worked alongside Toni and David in the Terra Sana group, Aziz’s dedication to his craft has only grown stronger over the years. Known for his exceptional chef skills, he is actively involved in all areas of the Sana Group, from working closely with schools to overseeing events. Aziz’s enthusiasm for creating delicious, quality dishes is matched by his commitment to making every experience memorable.
Laura Zorita
Wedding Planner and Event Coordinator
Laura’s background is a unique blend of creativity, precision, and business acumen – perfectly suited for orchestrating seamless and unforgettable weddings. Her keen eye for detail, organisational finesse, and deep understanding of hospitality ensure that every celebration runs effortlessly. Above all, Laura’s warm and reassuring presence allows couples to truly relax and enjoy their big day, knowing every detail is expertly taken care of.
Izzy Cheshire
Wedding and Event Coordinator
Izzy has over ten years of experience in event management, having run functions at top-end locations in the area. She loves the challenge and excitement of creating an event, and perfecting the art of ultimate customer satisfaction! Izzy has also run restaurants with a focus on events, planning and coordination, all of which are her forté. She is a beloved part of Sana Catering Marbella, whose love for the team, learning new skills and embracing new challenges is second to none.
Our Len
Kitchen Magician
The loveliest kitchen assistant you’ll ever meet. Having been with us for more than five years, she’s always ready to work with a huge smile on her face! Len is one of the most reliable and efficient members of the Sana Catering team – if you need her, she is always there. We love Len!
